If your major is Undeclared, you are in good company!
The Undeclared major is one of the largest majors for Truman’s incoming freshmen, and during their first year, many students with declared majors change them or go Undeclared for a short time. Most majors can be completed in four years by students who declare late, and first-year Undeclared students can focus on the Dialogues and sample many different topics for study. Our Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) Advisors can help you navigate the majors and choices you have at Truman.
Declaring A Major At Truman is Easy
Most majors allow students to make that change themselves through TruView (although Nursing and Music require applications). If you change your mind on the major, it is easy for you to change the major multiple times throughout your academic experience.
Multiple Majors/Minors
Truman students can have double majors and/or have a major with a minor (or two). Although you only need one major to graduate, many students add a second area of study onto their plan.
